Refund & Cancellation Policy

At shuggiepie, we take great pride in our cookies. Because our products are perishable and baked-to-order, we have established the following policy regarding refunds and cancellations.

1. No Returns

Due to the perishable nature of our food products and for the safety of all our customers, we cannot accept returns. Once a package has left our kitchen, it cannot be returned or resold.

2. Refund Policy (Final Sale)

All sales are considered final. We do not offer refunds or exchanges for:

  • Change of Mind: If you decide you no longer want the cookies after they have been baked or shipped.

  • Taste Preference: We hope you love every bite, but flavor is subjective and does not qualify for a refund.

  • Shipping Delays: While we ship promptly, we are not responsible for delays caused by the carrier (USPS/UPS), weather, or high seasonal volume.

  • Incorrect Address: No refunds will be issued if an incorrect or incomplete shipping address was provided at checkout.

3. Damaged Goods (Case-by-Case Basis)

We do our absolute best to package your cookies to withstand the journey. However, if your order arrives in a condition that is truly unsatisfactory (e.g., completely crushed or compromised packaging), please follow these steps:

  • Notify Us: Email us at [Insert Email] within 24 hours of delivery.

  • Provide Proof: You must include your order number and clear photos of both the damaged box and the damaged product.

  • Review Process: We review damage claims on a case-by-case basis. At our sole discretion, we may offer a partial store credit or a replacement of the damaged items. We do not offer full cash refunds for minor breakage (crumbled edges) that occurs naturally during shipping.

4. Order Cancellations

  • Standard Orders: Cancellations must be requested at least 48 hours before your scheduled shipping or pickup date.

  • Custom Orders: As stated in our Terms & Conditions, custom orders require one week's notice. Cancellations for custom orders must be made at least 4 days in advance to receive a refund.

  • Orders already in the oven or already shipped cannot be cancelled or refunded.

5. Unclaimed Local Pickups

If you have selected local pickup and fail to retrieve your order within 24 hours of your scheduled time, your order will be forfeited without a refund. We cannot hold perishable items indefinitely.

6. Operations Charges

Please note that any shipping fees or processing "Operations Charges" paid at checkout are non-refundable once an order has been processed for shipment.
